Gilyot Lab

The Gilyot lab was formed at Hampden-Sydney College in July 2023.

Our lab uses organic synthetic and analytical tools to develop fluorescent molecules for tracking biomarkers for diseases. In addition to fluorescence chemistry, the lab also focuses on developing tools to help undergraduate students succeed in organic chemistry lecture.

We strive to prepare lab members to be good, capable men and responsible and exceptional chemists.
